I hope you all have had a wonderful Christmas this year. The day is ending and I am fading fast. Ben, Katie and I hosted BOTH families together this year. We had 13 people crammed into my small kitchen for lunch and it was wonderful. Stangely enough, I did not feel stressed about hosting. Normally I would have been running around crazy and not stopping to enjoy this season, but I was able to feel peace and everything went smoothly. I adopted the whatever happens, happens policy this time around. I think I need to stick to that one.

In the past I have always felt apprehensive about including our families together. I'm glad I decided to go for it because it meant so much for Katie to have everyone here. She loves having her friends and family close by. I always feel torn as a hostess to make sure everyone is having a good time and not feeling left out or anything. I let them all fend for themselves and no one got hurt!

Katie is opening the invitation for anyone to "come to my house" so she can cook for you with her new kitchen. She will even work for you using her new toolset. But she won't let you forget her new baby, Jill, and Jill's "stolder" to ride in. Santa was good to her.
