UGH!

So I thought that I would change the color of this blog. So, I selected a new template. It warned me that my customizations would be lost. Did I realize that meant all my links? No, of course not. So, I fantically selected the old template color and now know that I need to somehow save all of my code for the links if I am to keep them with a color change. Any suggestions? How do I save the link info? Do I cut and paste into a word document? Also, how to I change the color if I don't like it?

It's only been a week...

...since my last post. It seems like it has been even longer than that.

I got a vacation day Friday to celebrate Veteran's Day. Thank you to all the veterans and current service members for keeping us safe and free.

My uncle was ordained as a Seventy in our church on Sunday so we saw about half of my relatives over the weekend. All in all it was a good weekend. Even with Katie only taking a five minute nap in the car Sunday between events. I would have liked for her to have a nap, but she did remarkably well with no sleep during the day.

I went to a bead store today that is closing its doors this coming weekend. I got $120 worth of stuff for $50. Not a bad deal in my opinion! I got stuff that I normally would have overlooked, but I have some great ideas for it. Someday you might see evidence here.

I had a situation at work today that was kind of interesting. I won't go into detail here, but I realized that I am truly a professional in my field. I feel important to this organization. What a great feeling! My supervisor trusts my judgement enough to allow me to interface with people professionally without hanging over my shoulder. Days like today really confirm that this was a good career move for me.

Katie's new thing this week is Curious George Bubble Bath. Get dorj bub-bles! Also, this afternoon she told Grandma "Katie eat pizza dinner." She knows what she likes!

two for Tuesday

1. It's election day. Go vote. I'm going this afternoon.

2. Katie is one step closer to potty training. She told me "SIT POTTY CHAIR" so I told her to go ahead. She did what she was supposed to. I praised her and she looked at me like so what mom? I do this all the time. I think I was more excited than she was.

Katie had a blast on Halloween. First, she got to go to Grandpa's office. I think she liked sitting in his chair more than anything. Although, the cookie wasn't too bad either. The receptionist had a fish that Katie loved. She wanted to see it the whole time we were there.

We had a quick dinner then off to see Joy, Buce, and Jep. She got to practice her trick-or-treat and was greatly rewarded.

Off to see Grandma and Grandpa and all the kids that came to the door. She loved seeing all the kids. We took her to a couple houses to trick-or-treat. That's all she wanted to do. I think she may have been starting to get cold. All in all, she had a great time.

If I ever get my photos off my camera, I will post them. My little kangaroo is so very cute.
